SCRIPT FOR CONDUCT COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

Good day, panellists. My name is Exilda T Capinpin. My qualification is COOKERY NCII. I will
now deliver how I Conduct Competency Assessment.

I received an appointment from the Assessment Center Manager. She confirmed my availability
on Nov 25, 2019. I visited their office to sign the agreed appointment.

DAY BEFORE ASSESSMENT

I have checked the appropriateness of the venue to health and safety in conducting assessment.
It is well ventilated, lights are functioning. It has Fire Exits and First aid kit. Its facilities
conforms to the recommendations of the Training Regulation on Organic Agriculture Production
NCII. I’ve checked the quantity and functionality of tools and equipment, together with the
quantity of materials.

DAY OF ASSESSMENT
ME: Good Morning, Mr. Roy Bagamaspad. My name is Exilda T Capinpin. I am here to conduct
the assessment. May I have the assessment package, please?
P: Yes, ma’am. Here is the Assessment Package.

Good morning, candidates. Come on in. Make yourselves comfortable and sit down. First of all,
what is the language that you understand the most? Please raise your hand. English? Filipino?
Halo tayo, mayroong mas naiintindihan ang Filipino at mayroon English. So magtataglish nalang
ako para maintindihan ng lahat.
Welcome LAS NAVAS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL. This is a TESDA Accredited Assessment
Center.
Ako c Exilda T Capinpin. You may call me Ma’am EXCEL. Ako ay accredited competency
assessor for Organic Agriculture Production NC II. This is my ID.

I would like to acknowledge the presence of Mr. ROY BAGAMASPAD, representative of TESDA
Provincial Office. Ms. CRISSA SIMON, our Competency Assessment Center Manager; and Mr.
JUNNO TAN our Processing Officer. You don’t have to worry about their presence because they
are here to oversee the conduct of competency assessment and to check if the conduct is in
accordance with the prescribed competency assessment methodology and procedures. They will
not assess you.
Bago tayo magsimula, let me check the attendanc. Pakibigay ang inyong admission slip at valid

Now, I have here with me your accomplished Self-Assessment Guide (SAG). You have answered
YES in all the criteria. This is an indication that you know and can perform all the Units of
Competency enumerated in this Qualification: COOKERY NC II. Nangyari ay sinagot niyo ng YES
sa lahat ng tanong sa inyong SAG. Ibig sabihin ay alam ninyo at kaya ninyong gawin ang lahat

The Purpose of Assessment is for levelling of your competencies, finding a job, and promotion.
The assessment will focus on the Core Competencies pero ‘yong Basic at Common Competencies
nakasali na doon ayon sa nakasaad sa National Assessment and Certification Arrangements.
Today, I am going to administer Competency Assessment for COOKERY NC II. It is the
qualification Level with Core Competencies: 1Clean and kitchen premises, 2
Prepare,stocks,sauces and soup, 3 Prepare appetizer, and 4 Prepare Salad and Dressing, 5
Prepare Sandwiches, 6 Prepare Meat Dishes 7 Prepare vegetable dishes, 8 Prepare Egg dishes
9Prepare starch products 10Prepare poultry and game dishes, 11 prepare sea foods dishes 12
prepare desserts and 13.PACKAGE PREPARED FOOD
The tasks o ang mga kailangan niyong gawin ay PACKAGE PREPARED FOOD o paano ngaba
mag impaki ng mga pagkain lalo na mga lutong pagkain. Mayroon kayong 40 minuto para gawin
ang lahat. The evidences to be collected is through Written Test and Demonstration with Oral
Questioning.
You will be assessed using the 4 dimensions of competency which are: 1Task Skill-partikular na
gawain; 2 Task Management Skill-mga gawaing kailangang magawa para matapos ang gawaing
bagay; 3 Job and Role in the Environment-mga kailangang gawin sa loob ng iyong workplace;
and 4 Contingency Management Skill-mga kailangang gawin kung may panganib.
My Role as Your Assessor- ako ang tutulong sa inyong pangangailangan; I’ll assist and answer
your questions. I will be the one to assess you/ magrerate sa inyo based on your performance.
Assessment procedures to be undertaken. Ang unang bahagi ng assessment ay 40 item Written
Assessment. You need to get 25 items in order to pass. Basahin nang maigi ang palatuntunan at
unawain nang mabuti. Gandahan ang inyong sulat kamay. Ikalawang bahagi ang
Demonstration. Gawing maayos ang ipinagagawa at naaayon sa pamantayang pang-industriya.
Pangatlong bahagi naman ang Oral Questioning na ayon naman sa iyong mga gawain.
After the Oral Questioning, I will give you feedback on your performance. Then, I will either
declare you COMPETENT or NOT YET COMPETENT based on the gathered evidences. Rights to
Appeal System. Kung sakaling bumagsak kayo at ayaw ninyo ang kinalabasan ng assessment
maari kayong sumulat sa TESDA Provincial Office.
Needs of the Candidates to be considered during assessment. Kung may mga karamdaman kayo
tulad ng high blood pressure, mangyari po lamang na ipaalam ninyo sa akin.
Tapos na tayo sa Allowable/Reasonable Adjustments in the assessment procedure on language
Next is Legal and Ethical Responsibilities. Hindi po pwedeng ipagsabi ninyo ang mangyayari sa
loob ng assessment. Ang nakakaalam lamang ng resulta ng inyong assessment ay ako, ikaw at
kung saan kayo nagtraining.
Do’s and Don’ts. Kapag nagsimula na ang assessment: bawal nang gumamit ng cellular phones.
Please put them on silent mode. Bawal nang lumabas sa venue. Mayroon po tayong mga pagkain
sa canteen kung kayo ay nagugutom at nauuhaw. Ang CR ay nasa ibaba. Cheating is prohibited.
Gumamit kayo ng nararapat na PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) para maprotektahan ang
inyong sarili.

Practical Work Area.
On the table are your materials, tools and equipment required for PACKAGING PREPARED
FOOD. You have 20 minutes. I will be observing you, while you are doing the tasks and I will
keep notes of your performance.
Here are your specific instructions. Read it carefully. Any questions? None.
You may now demonstrate the task.
Are you done? Okay. Now let us proceed to Oral Questioning. Follow me and sit down. If you

ME: Okay. Please wait as I finish recording evidences on the Rating Sheet and itemize your scores.
I’m done. Your score on written test is 28/40. In demonstration Test, you pack the sandwich
very well,and according to the standard requirements of the Qualification. At the beginning,
muntik muna makalimutan gumamit ng PPE. You answered your oral questions correctly and
with confidence. Based on the evidences that I have, I now declare you COMPETENT in
COOKERY NC II. Please sign here on the rating sheets as proof that you accept my assessment
decision. You can get your National Certificate from the TESDA Provincial Office.

pagkain. Hindi rin wasto ang ratio ng mga inputs na batay sa pamantayan na kinakailangan ng
kwalipikasyon. Sa oral questions, medyo nalalapit nman na yong sagot mo pero sa
pangkalahatan need improvement.
Base sa mga nakalap kong ebidensya, hindi ka pa competent. Magreview ka pa at maiging
sumailalim sa training tungkol sa wastong pag.iimpaki ng lutong pagkain o in PACKAGING
PREPARED FOOD at kumuha ka muli ng assessment para makuha muna ang minimithi mong
COOKERY NCII. I declare you NOT YET COMPETENT in COOKERY NC II. Please sign here on the
rating sheets. Kung hindi ka masaya sa lumabas na resulta dumulog ka sa tanggapan ng
TESDA Provincial Office. Congratulations pa rin po kahit hindi ka nakapasa dahil natapos mo
ang assessment at malaking bagay po iyon.
