Latin American Independence: Why Did the Creoles Lead the Fight?
Introduction Paragraph:
Body Paragraph:
Closing Paragraph:
I think the Creoles lead the fight because of two reasons. They lead the fight for independence.
One reason they would want independence is because they were limited on what they could produce.
Another reason they lead the fight for independence is because they wanted to be treated equally.
One reason the Creoles led the fight for independence is because they were limited on what
they could produce. In document C, the author stated that “ the government has been careful to place
limitations on what we can legally produce.” Another reason the Creoles led the fight for independence
is because they wanted to be treated equally. The point of document A is that they wanted to be treated
equally, but not separated by their ethnicity. Document A states, “We are not Europeans; we are not
Idians; we are but a mixed species of aborigines [ native-born ] and Spaniards.”
In conclusion, I think the Creoles lead the fight for independence for two reasons. One being
that they were limited on what they could produce. Another reason being that they wanted to be
treated equally. These are the reasons why I think the Creoles lead the fight.
