Immigration
I am pro-immigration because I know most of our parents and families are immigrants and
like almost of every other immigrant that comes to the US, They come for a better lifestyle for
their families and themselves. Many families come from different parts of the world, some have it
easy and some struggle to come to the US to get away from gangs, violence, and government
corruption. In the US it is easier to find a job and earn money than in other parts of the world, such
as Mexico where it is much harder for a 40 year old person to find a job than a 20 year old. Most
of the immigrants that come to the US are hardworking people, and are not criminals like the
president Donald Trump said in one of his many speeches in his political campaign in June 2015,
many immigrants contribute to the US economy since they pay taxes and they do not receive any
refund and that contributed millions of US dollars from them. They learn how to work in different
work fields such as construction, electricians, truck drivers, and plumbers, etc. But most of them
started in the farm work fields picking fruits and vegetables that go to the big stores and we end
All of them as human beings have the right to look for better living and working
opportunities. Most of the people that are against immigrants are Nativist, Racist. They are again
because they say that immigrants come to the US to abuse the public benefits, they do not put
effort to learn English and many people think that they come to take their jobs away. Some of them
do not like immigrants because of racism such as the color of their skin and are supporting and

donating money to build a giant wall along the side of Mexico to stop immigrants from Central
America coming into the US. Even though some of the immigrants are not all from Central
America, the president of the US wants to stop that side of the world coming into America. Further
issues for citizens disapproving immigrants is because it may cause over population issues,
meaning there can be over population problems in the wealthy countries while under-population
issues can begin to form in the developing country. Diseases can be transmitted to new regions
because of process of immigrations, an example would be the smallpox. Migrants can create wage
disparities. When they come looking for jobs they are willing to take employment opportunities
When immigrants have their children born in the US, education must be provided as well
as health care, and there is no guarantee that immigrant families will stay in the country, this means
the investments being made may never earn dividends. ‘William Ghee the founder of the North
Carolina anti-immigrant group for legal immigrations PAC (ALIPAC), wrote in an April 17 press
release after the introduction to the bill ‘’We believe that this bill will hurt American workers,
taxpayers, students, and voters by both destroying our future abilities to control our borders and
by encouraging more illegal immigration into our suffering countries!’’ They are against because
they say that immigrants come to the US to abuse the public benefits, they do not put effort to learn
English and many people think that they come to take their jobs away.

take employment opportunities for a much lower salary compared to a local resident.

In conclusion I am pro-immigrants because I believe we are all human and deserve a better
