IPM Prosper Class Exercise

Introduction to Prosper
Open Prosper

Double click on OPTIONS SUMMARY

Fluid – Oil and water

Click done

Double click on PVT Data

Enter PVT information

Choose Standing Correlation for Bubble Point Pressure


Double click on IPR Data

Chose Vogel

Enter reservoir and test data


Click Calculate

Click Plot Results

Remove Temperature on Y axis


Change Reservoir pressure to 1950 psi

Test pressure to 1550 psi


Continuing with initial example
Double click on Equipment Data

Choose Deviation Survey

Insert Deviation Data


Click on Surface Equipment

Insert data

Click Downhole Equipment


Click on Geothermal Gradient

Insert data
Double click on VLP

Insert data

Click on Calculate
Click on Plot
Double click on SYSTEM

Insert Top Node Pressure


Click on Calculate
Click on Plot
Click on Cases

Choose Tubing/Pipe diameter

Insert data
Click on Calculate

Click on Plot

Plot all cases


Click on Cases

Choose Top Node Pressure
