    AFFIDAVIT OF JUSTIFICATION/EXPLANATION

    I, GONZALO CARIN TABANA, 61 years old, Canadian Citizen, single,


    with residence address at Unit 1519, Laguardia Flats 2, Apas, Cebu City, after
    having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, do hereby depose and say that:

    1. I am a natural born Filipino citizen by birth;

    2. I lost my Filipino citizenship when I was naturalized as a citizen of


    Canada on June 12, 1998;

    3. I intend to stay in the Philippines for good. I would also like to retain
    and reacquire my Philippine citizenship under Republic Act No.
    9225;

    4. As requirement for my petition with the Bureau of Immigration, I


    have executed my Oath of Allegiance on November 12, 2019, under
    Doc. No. 3, Page No. 2, Book No. 1, Series of 2019 before notary
    public Clarisse P. Navarro;

    5. My Oath of Allegiance was not taken before the Bureau of


    Immigration Legal Officer in Mandaue City, Cebu because I was
    advised by the office staff of the Bureau that there was no legal officer
    around to administer oaths; and

    6. That I am executing this Affidavit to attest to the truth of the


    foregoing and for whatever legal purpose this may serve.

    IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this 12th day of


    November 2019 at Cebu City, Philippines.
