Version 1.07.1 bug/suggestion summary

DISCLAIMER: Non-functioning game play elements such as buttons, shop etc. are not a bug.
They have just not yet been finished or patched onto the live server by us.

#1 Speed stuck at fixed value (user can’t impact speed): fixed 29.10.2019

#2 Paintjobs (and items missing)

#3 Follow friendly player button not working

#4 Hitbox/collider system missing FIXED: 31.10.2019

#5 Sometimes player names dont load appropriately (circumstances unknown)


###UPDATE: Only player names that connect AFTER you are not loaded: FIXED 30.10.2019

#6 pressing „Y“ button causes game to lag severly/freeze can be reset by pressing „X“
#6.2 If any kind of entity is selected as target + one requests to follow target (either via Y key
or per GUI button), the game freezes
#7 strings of options don‘t load properly FIXED: 2.11.2019:

#8 CAMS missing

#9 Player ships of disconnected players don’t despawn. Fixed: 29.10.2019 (player ships
immediately jump out after disconnect)

#10 Customized user settings (options) don’t get saved for next session once applied;
settings default w/ launch

#11 Avatar selection is faulty (female characters cannot be selected) FIXED: 1.11.2019

#12 Cylon faction is missing FIXED: 1.11.2019

#13 all users can access the developer console

#14 if you spawn, dont use ANY turn keys and only use space to boost, your ship is
immovable; gets fixed once turn keys are used. Fixed: 29.10.2019

#15 shows everyone as level 1 even though on client side everyone is level 255 FIXED:

#16 Targeting system doesnt work (socket error upon targetting planetoid)
#16.2 any target selected (or only hovered on w mouse cursor) while viewing the sector

screen

#22 pressing „Get Cubits“ (when docked) will kick you out of full screen

#24 right mouse button does not impact ship’s movement vector. FIXED: 30.10.2019

#25 throttle slider doesn’t work

#26.4 launcher display of „server status“ is malfunctioning occasionally (gets fixed when

#27 lags (ship keeps resetting to previous position) after collision with a planetoid, can be
fixed by boosting/using turn keys FIXED: 1.11.2019
#27.2 clipping into the planetoid; believed to be caused by using the backwards momentum
to cause another collision
#27.3 after initial collision, the ship teleports/lags in the direction it’s pushed back to //// not
smooth

#28 players jumping out immediately after a disconnect may be exploited in order to avoid
engaging in combat etc.

#29 movement values are off (experimental and not original values)

#30 undocking doesn’t work (endless loop of „Loading“ when trying to undock) when

#33 information about other players in sector is not displayed at all FIXED: 3.11.2019:

#36 strings of ship names (default ones) of enemies (enemy faction) are not displayed
properly instead they show „%$BSGO.SHIP_VIPER.NAME%“ or
„%$BSGO.SHIP_RAIDER.NAME%“ ---- ship names of friendly players are displayed properly

#37 if connections > +-40 nobody can join the server as they have unlimited loading screen
in avatar creation screen. FIXED: 2.11.2019
