Multi-Purpose Lubricant

I. Product Description
CRC 3-36® is a versatile, petroleum-based lubricant, penetrant and corrosion inhibitor. It’s unique viscosity allows it
to cover more surface area and penetrate deep into the surface of all metals including steel, copper, brass and
aluminum. 3-36® displaces moisture and leaves a thin, long-lasting film to protect against corrosion and wear.
II. Applications
Recommended for use on tubing, castings, gears, weld rod, wire, fixtures, dies, jigs, shim stock, chucks, drill rod,
heat treated parts, machined surfaces, finished welds, aluminum extrusions, air actuated tools, conveyors, frozen
joints, locks, hoists, etc.

VII.Directions
• Spray in light, even coats to lubricate and protect metal surfaces.
• Apply liberally and allow to penetrate to free rusted parts.
• To displace moisture, spray wet surfaces until run-off is clear and moisture-free.
• Do not use on energized equipment.

IX. Disposal
Disposal requirements vary by state and local jurisdiction. All used and unused product should be disposed of in
conformance with local, state and federal regulations.
X. Special Use Warnings

Aerosol Cans
Do not puncture, incinerate or store above 120° F. Exposure to high temperatures may cause can to burst. Do not
place in direct sunlight or near any heat source. Aerosol cans will conduct electricity. Keep away from all live
electrical sources including battery terminals, solenoids, electrical panels and other electronic components. Failure to
observe this warning may result in serious injury from flash fire and/or electrical shock.
General
Use only in well ventilated area. Ventilation may be improved by opening a window or door or providing mechanical
assistance. Avoid continuous breathing of vapor and spray mist. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If ventilation is
