PRODUCT CHOSEN: AZTEC SECRET INDIAN HEALING CLAY MASK (CLAY MASK)
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Those are the words that keeping me to adhere
to my skincare routine. Everyone wants to be beautiful, especially woman. Regardless from
the teenage girls to working woman, they all want to look beautiful and presentable in their
own ways. A healthy skin is a happy skin. When we’re happy, we look beautiful and glow
differently. As it says, be your own kind of beautiful. So, in my skincare routine and product
review, I add clay mask as a weekly routine and choose Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask as
my product review. Here are a few reasons why I choose Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask
which is its affordable price, advantages and disadvantages of clay mask and the comparison
with other clay mask.
The first reason why I choose this clay mask is because its affordable price. It comes
with a few sizes from small, medium and large which is 50g, 100g and 450g. Oh not to forget,
it also comes with DIY tools consists of non-metal scoop, spatula and small bowl to mix them
together with Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar. When mixed with the Aztec Indian Healing Clay
Mask, it creates a smooth, perfect mixture green-acidic smell mask. This combination works
wonders on skin which Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar acts as an anti-inflammatory that are great
to your skin. For those who want to try first, they can pick the small-size one because it doesn’t
cost much. Because in skincare world, its YMMV (your mileage may vary) which is every skin
has different reactions and it acts according to skin concerns and skin type. So if this clay mask
doesn’t fit you, you wouldn’t feel that you have spend so much and to avoid high wastage or
you can give it to anyone for free!
The second reason why I choose this clay mask because it’s goodness to my skin is way
much better compared to the drawbacks that it claims. This clay mask is suitable for someone
who is having a breakout and acne-prone skin and suitable for oily skin type. This clay mask
is a bentonite clay and greenish-powdery type. Bentonite clay claims to fight acne, balance
complexion, detoxify your skin of bad bacteria, chemicals and heavy metals, deep pore
cleansing to get rid of built up impurities, reduce the appearance of pores, remineralize and
rejuvenate your skin and reduce appearance of dark spots. When applied, the clay mask feels
like a pulsating reaction is happening or someone is massaging your face, similar to have a
facial spa session! The absorption power is superb! This clay mask did a great job than it claims,
well for me. It only needs 5-10 minutes apply to skin and not to let it fully dry on your skin as
it can make your skin dehydrated but surely after removing the mask, your skin will feel so
smooth. And to make it even surprise, this clay mask is a multifunction mask. Not only can be
use on skin, but on hair and body also! This clay mask is not suitable for people who has a dry
skin type as it will make your skin even drier. If they insist to use this, they need to apply in
less than 5 minutes and make sure to hydrate their skin right away.
Although Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask is a world most powerful clay mask
for its organic and absorption power, there is a local product clay mask that is nearly similar to
Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask. It is Rose Clay Mask from Jelita KL. It is a local product that
targets the youngsters and working people. Rose Clay Mask contains Kaolin Clay and Organic
Rose Powder. For someone who is not suitable with any rose ingredients, this clay mask is
definitely not for you! Their skin concerns are for dull skin, fading acne scars, even skin toning
and reducing large pores. Rose Clay Mask is considered as a mild kaolin clay that is commonly
used to clean and purify the skin. The directions to use it is to take one tablespoon of Rose Clay
and mix it with small amount of clean water until it forms like a pinkish paste-like texture.
Apply it and don’t leave it on for more than 15 minutes or overnight. This clay mask suits all
skin type. Recommended usage for dry skin and sensitive skin is 1 to 2 times a week while for
normal skin which is oily and acne-prone skin is 2 to 3 times a week. In terms of usage, Rose
Clay Mask can be apply often in a week for me compared to Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
Mask which is only 2 times a week. The price for Rose Clay Mask is much cheaper than Aztec
Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask although Rose Clay Mask is available in big sizes only, 120g.
Although both are great clay mask, but Rose Clay Mask focus more on nourishes and
moisturizes skin and slows down skin aging while Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask
focus more on to have a clear and healthy skin.
To sum up, I think Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask is a great clay mask that
works better than it claims in this hustle and busy schedule as a student for me. Although it is
a bit pricey, I would spend to buy this product as it helps me a lot in shaping my skin to a better
healthy skin. This product offers a great value with its price. Worth every penny as it says,
beauty is pain! Just kidding, pain to my expenditure as its price is expensive for a student like
me. Last but not least, I would love to recommend this product to other people to help them to
have their healthy skin.
