St. Teresa's College for Women in Kerala, India started a 23 course Student Skill Development Program in 2013 to provide additional skills and certificates or diplomas alongside degree programs. The program has grown significantly, with over 1000 students enrolled annually by 2018. It offers courses in foreign languages, computers, banking, taxation, and soft skills. The college partners with government and private organizations to provide the courses and conduct MOOCs to further student skill development and empowerment.

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (Add On Courses) in the year 2013

 Since grown & Currently hosts 23 SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS.

 Students can pursue these Certificate & Diploma programs along with their
regular Degree Courses.

 The main objective is To Facilitate Student Empowerment and toAcquire

PSC ,Bank Coaching, Taxation & Soft skills Development

 In 2013 -361 students enrolled , 2014 -699 students enrolled, 2015 -878
students enrolled ,2016 – 982 students enrolled, 2017-1037 enrolled and
2018-1040 enrolled

 Signed mous with various govt organization like SRC(state Resource


centre),CCEK (centre for continuing education kerala),ASAP (Additional skill
development acquisition program).and also signed MOu with the private
organization like Individualized Educational Programme Catalys Pvt Ltd
