Deleting  Browsing  History  in  Google  Chrome  

Step  1  
Open  Google  Chrome,  and  click  on  the  Customize  and  control  Google  Chrome  icon  in  the  top  right  
corner  

 Step  2  
Click  on  History  

Step  3  
You  will  need  to  click  Clear  browsing  data….

   
 

 
Step  4  
Once  Clear  browsing  data  pops  up,  click  on  the  drop  down  arrow  next  to  Obliterate  the  following  items  
from:  make  sure  the  beginning  of  time  is  selected.  Look  at  the  image  below  to  make  sure  you  have  the  
same  items  checked,  and  then  click  Clear  browsing  data.  

 
Step  5  
After  you  click  Clear  browsing  data,  it  may  take  a  few  moments  to  delete  the  history  (especially  if  you  
have  not  done  so  in  a  while).    Once  it  is  finished  deleting  close  out  all  Google  Chrome  windows.  

Step  6  
Go  back  into  Google  Chrome,  and  type  in  surry.edu  (if  it  does  not  automatically  come  up  as  home  page).      

 Scroll  to  the  bottom  and  click  on  MyKnightlife.    Login  Screen  should  appear.  

 
*If  you  get  to  this  point  and  are  not  able  to  login  with  your  username  and  password  please  call  the  
Helpdesk  at  336.386.3434.    

**If  you  don’t  see  the  login  screen  repeat  Steps  1-­‐6,  and  restart  your  computer.    If  this  still  does  not  
work  please  call  the  Helpdesk.
