Supermarket Prize Scheme


A supermarket needs to the following software to encourage regular
customer. For this the customer needs to supply his/her residence
address, telephone number and the driving license number etc. Each
customer who registers for this scheme is assigned a unique customer
number (cn) by the customer. Based on the generated customer
number, check manually processes a customer identify card after
getting the market manager signature on it. A customer can present
his/her customer identity card to the checkout staff when he/she
makes any purchases. In this case the value of his/her purchase in
credited against his/her customer number. At the end of each year the
supermarket attendant to award 22 carat gold coins to every customer
whose purchase amount in more than 10 thousand rupees. The entries
against the customer number are reset on the last day of every year of
the prize winner lists are generated.
