Group 3 Series Parallel Day 7

This lesson plan is for an 8th grade science class on electrical circuits. The objectives are for students to understand current, voltage, resistance and home circuitry. Students will connect loads in series and parallel circuits and explain the similarities and differences. Activities include constructing circuits with batteries and light bulbs to compare series and parallel connections and their effects on current and voltage. Formative assessment questions evaluate students' understanding of brightness, current and resistance in different circuits.
