Control Systems: Lab Report No:09 Steady State Errors: Group Members

This lab report summarizes an experiment on steady state errors in control systems. The experiment had three tasks: 1) measuring error signals for different values of loop gain K and input signals 5u(t), 5tu(t), and 5t^2(t) in a type 1 system; 2) repeating for a type 2 system; and 3) repeating for a type 3 system. The conclusion is that the experiment verified the effect of input waveform, loop gain, and system type on steady state errors as expected based on control systems theory.

LAB 09
Steady State Errors
Aims:

 To verify the effect of input waveform, loop gain, and system type upon
Steady-state errors.

LAB TASKS:

TAKS :1

Using Simulink set up the negative feedback system of Prelab 6. Plot on one
graph the error signal of the system for an input of 5u(t) and K = 50; 500; 1000;
and 5000. Repeat for inputs of 5tu(t) and 5t2 (t).

Where H(s) =1

TAKS :2

Using Simulink set up the negative feedback system of Prelab 7. Plot on

one graph the error signal of the system for an input of 5u(t) and K =50;
500; 1000; and 5000. Repeat for inputs of 5tu(t) and 5t2 (t).

Where H(s) =1

TAKS :3

Using Simulink set up the negative feedback system of Prelab 8. Plot on one graph
the error signal of the system for an input of 5u(t) and K = 200; 400; 800; and
1000. Repeat for inputs of 5tu(t) and 5t2 (t).

upon Steady-state errors
