Judge Hickman:
Your honor my name is Carrie J. Elder I reside at 10217 Landwood Dr. Louisville Ky. and I have
been employed at Mobilex usa for the past 10 years as a mobile x ray technician, prior to my
present employer I worked at Texas Instruments for 25 years, my employment ended there
when the company closed and moved to another country.
I am writing this support letter in regards to my son Justin Keith Boblett inmate # 35416461
who is presently incarcerated at the Crittenden Co. Detention Center, Marion Ky. Justin is my
youngest of three children and my only son.
I am asking you to please consider this motion and grant shock probation for Justin. Despite
all the mistakes he has made in the past, I believe, if released he will be a law abiding citizen. I
have spoken to Justin almost daily over the past 17 months, we have talked a lot about the day
he is released and he has made me the same promise “when I am released I can promise you I
will never see the inside of another jail as long as I live” I believe he will keep this promise
because of all the things he has missed during his incarceration. Justin is a very selfless and kind
hearted person he has possessed these great qualities his entire life. Justin has taken complete
responsibility for his past actions and understands the impact it has had on his victims, family
and himself and is remorseful for his actions. Justin has identified what led him to his illegal
activity and understands what is required of him to avoid these situations. Justin is a wonderful
and supportive father of five children of whom love and miss him very much. Justin has three
daughters and two sons their ages are 13, 10, 6, 3, and 16 months his two youngest children
have not had the chance to know him and how much he loves since he has been incarceration
most of their life. Justin and I talk a lot about his future his goal is find a job, reunite with his
children, family and live a clean life
Upon release, I will provide Justin with a stable home, finding a job and transportation
to and from his job. I will provide moral support and encouragement in helping him be the
person I know he is and be the person he knows he is.
Thank you for reading my letter and considering Justin for shock probation, your
consideration for reading this letter is appreciated. Please consider my comments when making
your decision.
Sincerely
Carrie Elder
