With immense pleasure I am writing this letter of recommendation for Mr. lbrahim Ali Khan. I have
known him for the last four years (2014-2018) as an undergraduate student at Siddaganga lnstitute
of Technology, Tumkur. As an Assistant Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering
Department, I have taught him different courses like'CMOS VLSI Design', 'VLSI Lab'and ?SlC'in his
sixth and eighth semester. This gave me an opportunity to assess his practical and analytical skills.
Based on my observations, lcan attest that he is an intelligent and diligent student with a
tremendous drive to reach his goals.

lbrahim's academic performance has been consistent as he always made it to the top 20% of his
batch of 120 students. He has shown great interest to\ iards practical aided learning techniques and
constantly questioned me the practicality of theoretical concepts. As a result, he performed
particularly well in most of his labs. After.class-hours, we engaged in several course and research
related discussions in the field of VLSI in which he confidently talked about his aspirations towards
higher education to gain further knowledge. He is very interactive in the.class and is not hesitant in
questioning me whenever a topic is unclear to him. I have also observed that he effectively clarifies
the doubts of his peers and his juniors regarding any topic: demonstrating his teaching and
elucidating skills.

lbrahim is a very hardworking student. His assignments have been neat and precise. Given a task, he
is able to complete it within the stipulated period. Once, I had assigned him to do a presentation on
'ASIC Design Flow' in the class in which he meticulously explained the topic at hand. His clarity of
thought combined with his analytical atility, supported by hls excellent communication skills, brings
out the intellectual independence in him. Furthermbre, he has the capacity to adapt himself to any
new and challenging environment. I was surprised to know that he was brought up in Saudi Arabia as
he adjusted so quickly to the environment here.

I have the deepest personal and professional respect for him, and I believe lbrahim will make a great
addition to your prestigious institution. His drive and enthusiasm to learn make him the ideal
candidate for such an opportunity. I would like to strongly recommend him for the graduate
program.
