SQL Installation Steps for Oracle 10G

Step 1: Right click on file and click Extract Here

Step 2: Right click on Setup file and select properties..

Step3: click on compatibility mode and

1. Check Run the program in compatibility mode.


2. Select service pack 3 from drop down list.
3. Check Run the program as an administrator.

Step 4: Click Apply and Ok.

Step 5: Double click on setup file.

Enter Global Database name: scott

Database password: tiger Confirm password: tiger

 Click Next

 Click next

 If you are getting warning click yes or allow access.

 Click Install

 Click on Password Management

 Uncheck user SCOTT and HR and click Ok.

 Click Exit

 GoTo Start
 Type sql and right click on SQL Plus.
 Click on Properties

 Open Sql Plus
