Interface Numbering
Service interfaces on the NE40E-M2E are numbered in the following format: 0/subcard slot
number/interface number on the subcard.
l A subcard slot number is the number of the slot where an interface's subcard resides. A
subcard slot number ranges from 1 to 3.
l An interface number on the subcard starts with 0, and its maximum value is determined
by the actual number of interfaces on the subcard.

Button Description
RESET This button is used to reset the MPU. Press and hold the button for 3
seconds or longer, the board is reset, and the SYS-STAT indicator
keeps blinking.

Indicator Status Description
SYS-STAT If this indicator is steady green, the board is working properly.

If this indicator is steady red, the hardware on the board is faulty.
If this indicator is off, the board is not powered on or not registered.
MGMT-ETH If this indicator is steady green, the link is Up.

If this indicator blinks, data is being received and transmitted.
If this indicator is steady off, the link is Down.
