    SYNOPSIS
    This course covers the fundamentals of Construction Site Safety and Health Management as
    cited in the Factories and Machinery (Building Operations and Works of Engineering
    Construction (Safety) Regulations 1986 (BOWEC).

    An introduction to Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) which
    will enable participants to evaluate and assess the risks associated with the identified hazards
    and make recommendations on eliminating or reducing the risks of these hazards.

    Participants will also gain understanding of employer obligations under the Occupational
    Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514), where employers must provide a safe workplace for
    their employees and others.
