I always set challenging objectives ahead of me and push them with my

team. I always believe in teamwork and set the achievable missions;
although some might take a long time before any of it turn out to be
the workable venture.

I trust in doing things right at the first point but also very patient to
achieve what I want. I can keep on doing what I believe until I make
it happen and I believe mistakes and risks are part of the path which I

MAKTECH AND TEL CO. LIMITED (Maktech)
is an innovative Tanzania-based company en-
gaged in the installation and maintenance of
telecom equipments. It was founded and estab-
lished by Godwin Makyao in 2001 as a base of
operations to launch into the growing African
markets with our specialist maintenance tech-
niques and services.

We are Tanzania’s leading company in tele-

communication services. Upon its establish-
ment more than a decade ago with only
4 assistants, our company continue to rise
among its competitors. We currently have 160
employees making us in the same level with

JOHN LINUS MATAU | Chief Executive Officer

A passionate leader with a long track record of successful management, John has
extensive knowledge of the Telecom industry, economic, social and regulatory is-
sues. He has been in the telecommunication sector for more than 20 years. He is an
inspiring and motivational leader with first-rate communication and interpersonal
skills. He is a visionary and has the ability and passion to develop individuals within
the company in order to achieve company goals. He is able to push performance
improvement while at the same time delivering growth. He always ensures that
clear objectives and expectations are delivered and maintained.

ROBSON MURIGO | Chief Finance and Adminstration Manager

Robson has been with Maktech since 2014. He has a wealth of experience
in the areas of finance, banking, business strategy and management.
A very personable individual with the ability to motivate and commu-
nicate to achieve exceptional business performance, Robson has worked
tirelessly for the whole time he has been with Maktech. Robson holds an
MBA in Banking and Finance and a BSc Economics Honours degree. He has
worked for several banks in finance, treasury, risk and corporate banking in
various capacities, rising to the position of Head of Treasury before ventur-
ing outside the banking industry.

ANIL KUMAR SINHA | Chief Operation Officer

He has been with the company since June 2015. He accomplished senior profes-
sional level with demonstrated indigenous & international experience in project
management, planning and execution of operation. He has worked in multi-cultur-
al environment with a proven track record of executing large scale projects, an out
of the box thinker, keen communicator with honed problem solving and analytical
abilities.

SYED SARFRAZ AHMED | Chief Technical Officer

He has been with the company since January 2016 and was appointed as Chief
Technical Officer in October 2016 and is responsible for all Technical and Project
execution activities. Prior to his appointment Sarfraz was IBS Project Head as well
as a key member of the team for Project management, Planning and Execution. He
is a result-oriented professional with more than 10 years of experience in telecom
sector.

RUTH-NEEMA SWAI | Commercial Manager

A young professional with 6 years of experience in IT and Telecom Industry, she
has been with the company since Sept. 2016. She has shown value in strategic
planning, research and creative development to drive company business metrics.
Ruth-Neema is focused on achieving continuous improved business performance.
She has outstanding management skills with stakeholders and is highly success-
ful in building relationships with upper-level decision makers, seizing control of
critical problem areas, as well as delivering on customer commitments. She has
the ability and skill set to provide innovative, enthusiastic and forward-thinking
leadership in a team environment.

EMMANUEL JOHN MWABUKA | Finance and Administration Manager

Emmanuel has been with Maktech since October 2016. He is a Certified Public
Accountant, CPA (T) with Bachelor of Commerce in Corporate Finance. He has
over 8 years experiences in Finance and Accounting duties in different multina-
tional and local companies.
His duties and responsibilities include: Overall keeping proper and accurate books
of accounts of the company and assist other departments to achieve company’s
objectives through Financial Reporting and Budgeting.

ALOZI MAKUNGANYA | Human Resource Manager

A senior manager who joined Maktech and Telecommunication company since
2015 in Human resource department, she is highly experienced with adequate
skills and expertise in all aspect of Human resource functions which brings valu-
able increase in staff morale, building talents and foster development with individ-
uals in the company.
She is socially interactive, building sustainable relationships within and outside the
company. She holds a Post graduate diploma in Management of Foreign Relations
(MFR) and Degree of Bachelor of Arts in International Relations (BAIR).
