In this chapter, the results of the application of the various data collection and analysis techniques

upon the various sources of data identified in the previous chapter are detailed. It reviews key
responses of the managers surveyed by the researcher that specifically bear upon the research
presented in Chapter 1 and constitute the evidential basis for the positions expressed in the
concluding chapter of this study.

PART I: DEMOGRAPHICS

The questionnaire covered (4) demographic questions. The questions were as follows: Gender,
Religion, Age Group and the number of years employed by the GRA.

Question 1
The first question of the questionnaire required participants to identify their gender. Majority of
the respondent were males since the number of females were seven (64%) females, while the
minority of respondent were males, which totalled four (36%).

Question 2
The second question asked the respondents to identify their religion. From the data gathered,
seventy-three percent (73 %) of the total population is Christian, eighteen percent (18 %) is Hindu
while nine percent (9%) is Muslim. Careful examination of the data revealed that eight (8)
respondents were Christian, two (2) were Hindu and one (1) was Muslim. The researcher deemed
the question of religion to be relevant because it is a key coping mechanism for persons under
stress, in that managers with stronger or deeper religious backgrounds may find that they can
handle a stressful rotation assignment with more resilience or faith than a non-religious would, all
other things being equal, of course (Roberts, 2013; Kelly, 2004). Commented [DN1]: The relevant studies are:

mechanism. Dimensions of Critical Care
