School Resolution No. 1, s. 2019

Title: JOINT RESOLUTION FOR FUNDING AND CONSTRUCTION OF


SCHOOL COVERED COURT

INTRODUCTION: The school’s commitment to provide quality, accessible and equitable


education and to make all necessary means by which this aim could be
achieved inspired the school to work hand in hand with its stakeholders in
the promotion of conducive learning environment for all its learners. Along
with the meagre resources it has through the school’s Maintenance and
Other Operating Expenses commonly known as MOOE is the financial
assistance coming from the Local Government Unit of Mayantoc through
Municipal Ordinance No.___ s. _____, which is primarily used in funding
authorized contributions identified by the Department of Education
(DepEd) and are all governed by DepEd Orders and Memorandums.

However, the school is still direly scarce in its resources to provide all the
essential necessities sought to be beneficial in warranting good education
among the learners using its MOOE, especially in building facilities which
are valuable venues for various school activities. One of which is the
covered court that could serve multiple purpose in numerous school-based
programs and events.

With the students’ welfare as the school’s primordial concern, it is


undeniably imperative that the provision of school covered court will
enthusiastically motivate our dear students to join school initiated
endeavours that further advances and hone their knowledge, skills and
holistic development.

Whereas: In a stakeholders’ planning session with the General Parent Teachers Association
(GPTA) Officers, GPTA Board of Directors, San Bartolome High School Faculty
Association Officers and San Bartolome Alumni Association, dated September
____________, 2019, the GPTA through its President- elect Mrs. Rowena
Dacayanan, suggested to seek the help of the office of the good Governor, Hon.
Susan A. Yap, in the construction of school covered court.

Whereas: The school principal, Dr. Richard V. Ancho, together with the San Bartolome High
School Faculty Association President- elect Mrs. Jocelyn Domingo suggested the
crafting of a joint resolution to be submitted to the Hon. Governor for approval and
eventually funding of the abovementioned school facility.

Whereas: The school, with all other stakeholders there present, identified the proposed
buildable site using the school site development plan and have agreed that the
proposed covered court be built in front of the school stage, which is at the
moment under construction using funds donated by the SBHS Alumni Association.
Copy furnished the office of the governor such site development plan for reference
purposes.
RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED that this resolution be forwarded to the office of the
good Governor for approval.
