Rubik's Cube Algorithms

The document discusses Winter Variation, a last slot cubing method where all top layer corners are oriented during insertion of the last pair. This allows for an OLL skip if all edges are already oriented. The method has relatively easy recognition except for 0 corner oriented cases which can be tricky to recognize quickly during solves. Example algorithms are provided for orienting 3, 2, 1, and 0 corners.

What is Winter Variation?

Winter Variation is a last slot method where you orient all your top layer
corners while inserting the last pair.

How is this useful?

Well, if all your edges are already oriented, you will get an OLL skip!

What about recognition?

Recognition really isn't that bad to be honest. The 0 corner oriented cases are
the only ones that can be tricky to recognize quickly in solves.
