T24 Support Engineer, based in Chennai

Main Responsibilities:

 Support Production, related to T24 and all process related to it


 Understand Production issues and analyze, resolve within stipulated time frame and act
as required
 The job will entail understanding the business needs and requirements, as well as
functional specifications, and translate them into Technical Specification Documents,
followed by developing solutions that meet those specifications
 Ensure proper working of live system without interrupting any services to customers
 Support and monitor users’ activity under Temenos T24
 Perform day to day operations and processes to support smooth business operation
under CBS
 Complete tasks, related to Closing of Business (COB including Pre-COB, Post-COB and
backup/restoration procedures) and report accordingly
 Participate in implementation of IT projects
 Learn, understand and implement/execute new solutions
 Meet targets, set by the supervisor and work unceasingly to enable Software Group BG
to meet its goal

Qualifications & Requirements:

 Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience


 Good knowledge of Temenos T24 Core Banking System
 Working experience with T24 Live Support and Development
 T24 Development experience including Menu, Version, Enquiries & Batch set-up
 Good understanding of overall T24 architecture and working mechanism
 Experience in Unix/Linux/Windows Server
 Experience with JBOSS or similar application servers
 Knowledge of shell Script and SQL scripting
 Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
 Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
 Team Player
 Readiness to travel
