MVP100/Nextiva Setup Guide

We offer these instructions to assist in configuring your InFocus device. Every SIP service provider
decides what SIP features it will support. Third party SIP services may only allow audio calls. InFocus
does not guarantee any functionality provided by these services.

Getting SIP Credentials for Nextiva:

1) After signing up for your Nextiva account, sign-in to your user interface

2) Next, click on “View & Edit Devices” > click on “Add New Device” > then click on “Bring Your
Own Device” > Choose “Generic SIP Phone” from the Device Type drop-down menu > click
continue.

3) Next, click on “Sites & Employees” > click on “Employees” > click on “Create New Employee”
4) Fill out the “Contact Information” > select a phone number/extension from the “Phone
Information” drop-down > click the continue button.

5) Finally, select “Generic SIP Phone” from the “Device” drop-down menu > and create a password
in the “Device Information” section. You will need to know the SIP Username, Domain,
Authentication Name and Authentication Password to set up your MVP100 device.
MVP100 Setup:

1) In order to sign-in to the MVP100 web interface, you will first need to know the phone’s IP
address. You can find this on the “Status” screen of the phone by pressing the “Settings” hard
button.

2) Once you have the phone’s IP address, open a web browser, type https:// followed by the IP
address and :8443 and press enter.

3) On the next page you will click on > “Advanced” then click on > “Proceed to”.

4) An authentication box will pop-up > in the “Username” field type admin > in the “Password”
field type 4321 then click the “Log In” button.
5) You will now be on the MVP100 web interface dashboard page. From here you can enter the
SIP credentials you received from the Phone.com user interface by clicking the “Account” tab
toward the top of the screen and then choose one of the three “Accounts”.
6) Next you will fill in the following:
a. SIP URI(SIP [email protected])
b. Username(Authentication Name)
c. Password(Authentication Password)
d. Proxy Mode(Manual)
e. Proxy Address 1(prod.voipdnsservers.com)
f. Transport(UDP or TCP)

All other fields should be left empty.

7) Finally, click the blue “Save” button and you are ready to use your MVP100 with the Nextiva
Service.
