I.OBJECTIVES
A.Content Standard Application of Scientific Ways of Thinking in Daily Life
B.Performance Standards Apply scientific thinking in daily life situations.
C. Learning Competencies 1. Cite factors that contribute to good health, e.g., proper nutrition, adequate clothing, personal hygiene, clean
environment, adequate shelter, social justice, education,( LS2SC-AS-PSB-BL/LE/AE/LS/AS-1.4.3)
2. Cite factors affecting the well-being of a person such as: • congenital (existing at birth) diseases •
predisposition to certain diseases and acquired physical defects • poor resistance to germs.( LS2SC-AS-PSB-
BL/LE/AE/LS/AS-1.4.3)
3. Perform on his own the following self-care / self-help tasks: • clean one’s body • wash one’s hands before and
after meals • brush one’s teeth • comb one’s hair • cut one’s nails • change one’s clothes • eat one’s meals •
answer the call of nature (i.e., urinate or defecate) • practice good hygiene habits (i.e., wash one’s hands after

IV. PROCEDURES
A.Springboard/Motivation The teacher will ask the pupil to sing Paa, Tuhod, Balikat Ulo.
(Establishing a purpose for the lesson) After singing the teacher will ask the learners what is the importance of exercising.
B.Activity (Review of previous lesson/s or The teacher will group the learners into 4 group. Each group will be given an envelope with cut-outs picture.
Presenting the new lesson) They will arrange the cut-outs picture and paste the arrange picture in the manila paper provided.
C.Analysis (Presenting Guided Questions:
examples/instances of the new lesson What does each picture shows?
What will happen to you if you get the proper nutrition?
Whar will happen if you are living in an adequate shelter?
What will happen when you practice personal hygiene?
What are some example of personal hygiene?
What happens if you’re living in a clean environment? or clean working area.

D.Discussing new concepts and The teacher will play a video clip about the factors affecting the well being of a person
