    TRAINING PROPOSAL

    TITLE: School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Sessions for S.Y. 2019-2020

    I. RATIONALE

    In line with the implementation of Republic Act N0 10533, or the Enhanced Basic Education Act 0f
    2013 and upon the pursuant to DepEd Order No. 35, s. 2016, the school is tenacious and staid in
    performing its task to ensure the continuous professional growth of its teaching personnel based on life-
    long learning for the improvement of teaching and learning.
    Since the quality of learners is very much dependent on the quality of teachers, therefore it is
    imperative for the school to support the front liners of education in their quest to better themselves. This
    will aid the teachers in construction of new knowledge for instruction as well as in revisiting and revising
    their traditional beliefs and assumptions about education, community, teaching and learning to suit the
    present needs of the learners.

    II. OBJECTIVES

    This aims to:


    a. orient/reorient the teachers on select topics on teaching-learning process;
    b. familiarize the teachers on numerous strategies to utilize during remedial teaching;
    c. create innovation/s and instructional material/s to improve learning outcomes.

    III.PARTICIPANTS

    Participants per SLAC Session will be a total of 7 Teachers.

    IV. KEY CONTENTS

    The SLAC Sessions will focus on:


    a. Pagtuturo ng Pagbasa sa mga Batang Hirap Bumasa- July 5, 2019
    b. A Glimpse on PRIMALS for Teaching-Learning- August 9, 2019
    c. Personalizing DLL for COT- September 13, 2019
    d. Designing Contextualized and Localized IMs and SIMs-October 25, 2019
    e. A Look-Back on Helpful Teaching Strategies- November 15, 2019
    f. Who Am I as a Teacher: Personality Development-December 6, 2019
    g. Assessing Summative and Formative Assessments- January 10, 2020
    h. Ruminating the Nature and Potential/s of Learners- February 7, 2020

    V.EXPECTED OUTPUTS:

    a. DLL
    b. Localized Instructional Materials
    c. Strategic Intervention Materials (SIMs)
    d. Questionnaire
