    Dear PD Abadilla:

    This has reference to the unnumbered Memorandum dated 2 September 2019, from
    MR. JERRY A. LORESCO, Head Executive Assistant, DILG- Central Office relative to the
    displacement of the residents of Mantigue Island, Mahinog, Camiguin, as enunciated in
    the letter of ATTY. ERWIN M. ENAD, Assistant Secretary, Office of the President,
    Malacañang, Manila addressed to the Honorable Eduardo M. Año, Secretary, this
    Department.

    In this regard, the undersigned would like to be apprised of the latest situation relative
    to the concern raised in the letter of Atty. Enad, based on the letter (herein attached) of
    certain residents in Mantigue Island sent to the Office of the President seeking for
    appropriate intervention from President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

    Report on updates on the issue at hand is promptly requested.
