7:30-8:00 am Ladies and gentlemen, as we are about to begin, please be seated.

I have a few housekeeping notes to make before we begin today’s program.

Firstly, I would like to seek your cooperation in filling out the attendance sheet
and getting your nametags at the registration area which will be distributed by
any of the following committee-in-charge___________

And also, may I remind everyone to be attentive to the other instructions and
reminders we will be giving you later.

Thank you for your kind cooperation and attention.

8:00-9:00 am Arvin: Good morning ladies and gentlemen, good morning Ma’am Jheny.
Jheny: Good Morning everyone, good morning Sir Arvin.
Arvin: On behalf of the Moreno Integrated School, I would like to extend a very
warm welcome to all of you in this year’s
Both: One-Day Division Patiribayan Festival in ESP 2019 For Elementary and
Secondary Level
Jheny: I am Jheny Villacruz.
Arvin: And I am Arvin Villagarcia.
Both: We are your emcees for this morning.
Jheny: We appreciate you taking time off your busy schedules to join us today.
We hope you will find the program we have lined-up for you to be fruitful and
engaging.
Arvin: I am inviting everyone to please stand and bow your heads for the
invocation.
Jheny: Please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National
Anthem.
Arvin: Please be seated.
Arvin: To kick-off this morning’s program, we are pleased to have Ma’am
Susana S. Salcedo, Principal II of MIS, for the welcome address.
Jheny: Thank you so much Ma’am Susana S. Salcedo, for giving us a warm
welcome in this event. And now, let us call in the Chairman of the Registration
Committee, Mrs. Lerma F. Susano for the presentation of participants.
Arvin: Thank you very much Ma’am Lerma for giving us a glance of what
schools and who will be competing in this year’s ESP Patiribayan Festival.

Thank you very much, I hope everyone was able to decipher things that we
will encounter or deal with along the way. Thank you so much Sir Luis T.
Bonifacio for telling us what we need to meet or accomplish in this conference
at the end of the day.

To give us words of wisdom may we call in our ever supportive Senior High
School Director, Sir Ron Elicay for the opening remarks. Let’s give him a warm
welcome!

Thank you so much Sir Ron. We will surely carry these words you gave us
today as an inspiration and motivation to do our best as young leaders.

It’s now the time for us to share with you the CURRENT ISSUES AND
PRESSING CHALLENGES OF THE YOUTH IN NAGA CITY, CAMARINES
SUR.

I would like to invite our Resource Speaker, Mr. Rene F. Gumba, Executive
Director of PSO, to present to us a public report in relevance to our topic this
morning. Let’s give him a round of applause!

Thank you, Sir Rene F. Gumba, for the insightful presentation.


(Kindly jot down some insights that the resource speaker might give during his
talk so you can mention something you have learned from him here when you
thank him. Haha)

At this juncture, we will be having an open forum. Everyone is encouraged to


share their thoughts about what they have learned from the discussion earlier,
to tell us something about the best practices in schools and to participate in
establishing a consortium.

Thank you very much for your participation, cooperation and support in
carrying out this activity! I hope everyone has found today’s session/s
