The objectives are for students to identify the difference between fractions and decimals, convert between the two, and understand their importance. The lesson will begin with prayer, attendance, and a review of past material. Students will then participate in an activity using a 10 by 10 grid to convert fractions to decimals. They will work in groups and be assessed on their ability to convert fractions and decimals. For homework, students will practice converting fractions to decimals.
