Activity 1:

Tell the students to open textbook page#2 and 3 of


„Listening and Viewing Section‟ of unit 1 „Fun at School‟.
Model reading of the text will be done with correct
pronunciation and intonation. Encourage them to read the
text themselves. Help if they need it. Explain the sequence of
things Usman does when he gets up every morning. Educate
them about how his events and routine follow a certain
sequence and order. Make sure that you explain each picture
separately and do not miss out any minute detail.

Activity 2:

After explaining the sequence of pictures, ask students at


random to talk about their daily activities in detail this time
preferably with the use of two to three simple adjectives. In
order to bring the students in the comfort zone, start by
telling your own story first e.g: Every day I get up early in
the morning, pray Fajr namaz, go for a long exhausting jog,
eat breakfast and then start getting ready. After getting
ready I drive to my wonderful school to teach my brilliant
students.
