To configure a laptop for a secure exam using Safe Exam Browser, one must: copy the SafeExamBrowserInstaller file from a shared network location to their laptop; run the installer and accept the license agreement; configure the Safe Exam Browser to use the exam URL of http://172.19.0.4; and then launch Safe Exam Browser to attempt the online exam through Moodle.

1) Go to This Pc

2) Type in address bar :- \\172.16.1.1\Share\Safe Exam Browser Installer

3) Then Press Enter and wait for few second


4) Copy the file (SafeExamBrowserInstaller)

5) Past to your laptop.

6) Double Click on the file (SafeExamBrowserInstaller)


7) Then Click YES
8) Click on Next

9) Click on I accept the terms in the license agreement

10) Then click on Install


11) Setup will Start now

12) Then click on Finish


13) Click on Start

14) Click on SEC Config Tool and wait for few second.
15) Please Edit Start URL to (http://172.19.0.4) then Press F5.
16) Now your Laptop is Configured for Mid Term Exam and now you must use safe Exam
Browser to attempt the moodle Exam
