Line and Hatching Exercises
This worksheet proposes you simple yet effective exercises. Embed them into your
creative routine, use them as a warm-up, and have fun!
1. Draw continuous lines, varying the pressure and speed of drawing. Pay attention
to the starting and the ending points of the lines.
Spontaneous intervals are welcome, too—as long as you know what you're doing!
2. Draw some dashed lines!
3. Draw a reference line, then add hatches; leaving a gap is up to you.
4. Create a line that consists of dots; it may be continuous or broken.
