Course Objective
The main objective is to develop in the engineering student the ability to analyse any real-life
problem in a simple and logical manner using well-understood vector methods.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
 Apply the concepts of Engineering Mechanics to solve simple problems in mechanics.
 Analyze the Effect of forces on rigid body.
 Sketch the shear force diagram and bending moment diagram.
 Solve kinematic and dynamic systems.
