Job Description

1.Preparing and ensuring compliance to the maintenance procedures, Preventive and


Predictive maintenance schedules.

2.Condition monitoring of rotating equipment, analysis and advice.

3.Assist plant maintenance in troubleshooting critical problems.

4.Supervision of quality checks during overhauling of critical rotating equipment.

5.Assistance/ Association in repair and refurbishment of rotating equipment/


components.

6.Asst/ Perform Failure analysis and Root cause analysis (RCA) of repetitive failures.

7.Review and optimize maintenance tasks/ frequencies.

8.Applying the learnings from RCA to proactively increase the reliability of other assets.

9.Ensure safe and trouble free start-up of critical rotating machines.

10.Provide inputs for planning and scheduling of critical rotating equipment overhauling.

11.Provide assistance for erection and commissioning of new equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

 Education: B.Tech/BE(Mechanical) or M. Tech (Mechanical)


Experience:18-22 years of relevant experience in similar industries.
Job Location : Haldia

Competencies Required:

1.Hand on experience in rotating equipment trouble shooting, maintenance and


condition monitoring.

2.Experience in Rotating equipment, erection and commissioning is preferred.

3.Certification in Vibration Level 1/ Level-II shall be considered as an added advantage.

4.Certification in System-1 (GE) shall be considered as an added advantage.

5.Knowledge on rotating equipment maintenance techniques and types.

6.Knowledge of Reliability principles (RCM/ FMEA, Statistical tools).

7.Knowledge of industry standards and codes (API, SAME, ISO etc.).

8.Knowledge of various NDT techniques. Analytical ability. Good interpersonal skill,


Communication skills.

9.Knowledge of SAP or any ERP package.

10.Decision-making ability.
