    Document Process

    Student statement
    For my investigation, I found interest
    in exploring the memories I
    associate with my youth. When
    people, especially children,
    experience distinct turbulence in
    their lives, they often craft a happier
    realm for their conciousness to dwell
    in. Through my life, I struggled with a
    toxic home environment and, in turn,
    left my younger self in my own
    hand-crafted place of safety. In
    revisiting these worlds, I hope to
    accept my former trauma and
    reawaken the happy, childish spirit in
    myself and others.
