Project Description : The National Highway (N-40) connects Pakistan with Iran. It starts from
Quetta and ends at Taaftan (Pak Iran Border).The project is located in
Balochistan. The alignment is mainly traversing in hilly and mountainous
terrain. The project comprises of double lane carriage way, 330 Nos. of box
culverts for cross water drainage. The road work mainly consists of formation
of embankment from road way and borrow excavation, Sub grade, Sub
base, Aggregate base course, Asphaltic base course and Wearing course.
The length of the project is 90 Km

Description of duties :  Preparation of work plan and planning of construction at site.
 Managing site and execution of construction work according to the
directives of management and contractual requirements.
 Management of resources allocation i.e. .machinery, manpower and
materials to meet the objectives.
 Co ordination with site staff and providing professional guidance to
them.
 Realization of quality control and quality assurance in execution of all
constructional work i.e. Earth works in embankment, sub grade, sub
base, aggregate base course, asphaltic and wearing course and DST.
 Co ordination with consulting staff and getting approvals for materials
and completed works.
 Conducted various material tests at site and in laboratory.
 Conducted survey work.
 Preparation of daily progress reports.
