sanctuary is mostly hilly. The altitude here varies from 200 to 1000 meters above the sea level. Here, the
vegetation comprises of bamboo, saja and bija. If you move towards the higher altitudes, you’ll come across

Badalkhol Wildlife Sanctuary has a rich wildlife density. The sanctuary is open for major part of the year but the
best time to make a visit to the sanctuary is from the months of November to June. It has a rich flora and
fauna. You can find evergreen sal forests as well as the mixed forests of diverse qualities in the
