1. Start Microsoft word.


2. Type the text below.
In february, the taxpayer bought a lot deemed as Capital asset. The acquisition cost was P840,
000. He later sold the lot in December for P1,060,000.
In September, the taxpayer sold his 560 shares of stock of Ayala Investment Corporation held by
him as Capital asset, thru a local stock exchange. The cost was P36,900 where as the sale price
was P154,000. In October, the taxpayer sold for P820, 000 his house and lot located at Makati,
held as Capital asset (not his prinsipal residence). The fair value on the date of the sale was
P250, 000 and the acquisition cost was P475, 000.
3. Run the spell checker.
4. Insert “Additional Data” above as the title the text. Leave an empty line between the title and
the text.
5. Select the entire text.
6. Apply the Font Arial Narrow, Font size 12 and then justify.
7. Push the paragraph “ In October, the taxpayer....” down to become another new paragraph.
8. Use Change Case Command to change the word “capital asset” to Uppercase.
9. Change line spacing to 1.5. (exclude the title)
10. Change the format for the the title: Font color to Blue and Italize
11. Apply Bulleted list.
12. Change the paper size to A4 and change again to letter size.
13. Insert header, write the full name of the President of the Philippines.
14. Insert footer, put page number.
15. Apply Heading 2 to the word “taxpayer”.
16. On the next page, create the table below.

17. Apply subscript to the words at the first row


18. Put a boarder with 6pt.
19. Delete entire text.
20. Undo the deletion.
21. Apply highlight starting from the 3rd row to the last row.
22. Click 75% from the zoom box.
23. Type in the title “Income Tax Rate” above the table. Font 14, Bold
24. Save the document in the desktop with the file name “Income Taxation”.
25. Close the Microsoft word.
