1. This is to inform the field that there will be a One-Day Orientation Workshop on the
Preparation of Daily Lessons on August 14, 2015 at a venue to be announced later.
2. Participants to said activity are elementary principals, head teachers TICs, EPSs and
PSDSs.
3. Relative to the activity, all school heads are required to bring Teachers Guide and
Learners Materials in all the subject areas. Bring also laptop and extension wire for
use during the workshop.
4. Expenses relative to the conduct of the activity shall be charged to Division MOOE
while traveling expenses of participants are chargeable to school MOOE subject to
accounting and auditing Rules and Procedures.

RATIONALE
Communication arts aims to develop the 4 macro skills of each participant(reading, writing, listening
and speaking) as well as their English fluency and communicative competence. The contested events
shall enhance the multiple intelligences, higher order thinking and intrapersonal relationships among
the participants and their teachers and advisers. Through the different contested activities, they will be
able to cater the various learning styles.
OBJECTIVES
1. To celebrate the School-Based English Festival of Talents Culminating Activity;
2. To develop camaraderie and sportsmanship through the performance of talents and skills;
3. To promote collaboration and unity among students for a sustainable inclusive education.
