Key Responsibilities:
(Below are generic responsibilities. Exact responsibilities will defer from project to project, relevant work experience of associates
and individual competencies)

Business Analyst (For Marketing / Finance / Operations / IT and Systems specializtions)


 Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in the business environment and generate new
business ideas for the users
 Interact with users for understanding their business needs and gathering requirement.
 Analyze the requirement and its impact on other systems and the business
 Analyze the feasibility of a project through Cost/benefit analysis and assist management in taking
decision.
 Use data analytics to identify opportunities / areas of improvements and suggesting the same to
the project team
 Support internal and external audits
 Design and Implement roadmap for existing/new projects.
 Develop Business cases to assist decision making.
 Plan testing and monitoring the entire process
 Analyze the cause of defects using Causal Analysis and solutions to avoid such defects.
 Analytics on expenses and budgeting for expenses
 Provide consulting / solutions to customers
 Design and conduct functional testing

Pre-Sales and Marketing (For Marketing specialization)

 Provide pre sales support to the sales team by effectively presenting, communicating and
demonstrating the TCS's VALUE to customers from the perspective of use of technology
 Owning and responding to detailed RFI/RFPs
 Participate in sales calls with sales representative and meeting with prospects
 Prepare and giving demonstrations when required
 Create and give technology presentations and building detailed use cases
 Establish relationship with key technical person of customers to understand the grounds for
collaboration and also to understand their technical challenges
 Work with sales team to build solution value propositions, including compelling business cases to
accelerate solution adoption
 Address RFPs, preparing techno commercial proposals, interact with presales team ensuring
meeting customer's technical requirements
 Product marketing and research
 Define Business Processes/ Requirements for Product Enhancements
 Identify potential opportunities in respective areas meeting sales targets
 Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products

 Ensure clear adherence to a technical pre sales qualification process to ensure correct leveling and
placement of opportunity leading to accurate quotation and excellent customer experience
 Continuous improvement and refinement of pre-sales processes and best practice strategies
 Report progress and development including progress and management against targets

Desired Skills:
 Candidate should have good knowledge and understanding of domain they would be in
 Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
 Excellent analytical skills and problem solving attitude
 Good behavioral competencies in terms of Interpersonal skills, team skills etc
 Good knowledge of SDLC
 Pro-activeness to drive initiatives and ability to successfully participate in multiple initiatives
 Ability to work in cross functional team of technical and domain specialists
 Should be willing to learn and adapt to technology and trends and adapt
 Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject
matter experts
 Work independently with customers
 Detail oriented approach for solutioning
