August 12, 2019 CE 515 Assignment #2

The document provides load combination formulas for strength design, allowable stress design, and special seismic load combinations. For strength design, there are 7 load combination formulas listed using factors like 1.4, 1.2, 1.6, etc. For allowable stress design, there are 8 load combination formulas listed using factors like 0.6, 0.75, 1.0, etc. There are also 2 special seismic load combination formulas listed using factors like 1.2 and 0.9. The document defines symbols used in the load combination formulas like D for dead load, L for live load, W for wind load, and Em for estimated maximum earthquake force.
