AL MAJD INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL - DAMMAM

INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

I. Overview
With emphasis on students' values formation, Al Majd International
·School Dammam's Program of Instruction is designed to meet the needs
of Filipino students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With K to 12
Curriculum, the program provides opportunities for students to hone
their skills in academics and develop their talents and leadership
potential through the extra curricular activities that the school provides.
II. · Instructional Program Areas

A. Pre-Elementary Education
Pre-Elementary Certificate is given to a pupil who has completed
Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2, respectively. However, a
child who has extraordinary skill in reading and writing maybe moved
up to the next level after fulfilling the requirements. A child who did not
attend Kindergarten 1 but has qualified to be moved up to Kindergarten
2 is still a candidate for graduation in Pre-Elementary level.
B. Elementary Education
Elementary Certificate is given to a pupil who has completed
six years of Elementary Education regardless of school residency.
C. Secondary Education
Certificate of Completion for Junior High School is given to a
student who has completed four (4) years of Secondary Education
regardless of school residency. High School Diploma for completion of
Senior High School is given to a student who has completed Grades 11
and 12 regardless of school residency.

The Elementary Level is divided into Lower Elementary (Grades I,


:II and III) and Upper Elementary (Grades IV, V and VI).
