Ethical Hacking: Registration

Registration for Techfest 2018-19 will take place from December 13-15 at the main gate, where participants will receive a registration card to bring with them at all times on campus. Those carrying electronic devices will need to declare them and get a gate pass. Accommodation is available either on or off campus. Those staying on campus will receive a green band and those staying off will receive a blue band to access events. The Ethical Hacking workshop will be held on December 15 from 8 AM to 5 PM in room LA 302, with lunch provided. Certificates will be distributed within a few days after completion of the workshop.

Ethical Hacking

Team Techfest 2018-19 welcomes you to IIT Bombay. Following are some general
guidelines for your assistance.

Registration :

All the participants can register on 13th, 14th and 15th December at the registration
desk at Main Gate. Participants are required to arrive quite early as registration at Main
Gate may take time owing to a lot of crowd there. A registration card will be given to
them. The participants should carry this card at all times in the campus. Participants
need to register only once during the fest.
Those carrying their laptops, CPU or similar electronic gadgets will have to declare their
belongings at IIT Bombay Main Gate and get a 'Gate Pass' . Your belongings will be
checked on your way out of IIT Bombay and those who fail to produce their Gate Pass
may have their belongings impounded.

Accommodation :

● If you have been provided accommodation inside IIT, then please proceed to the
Accommodation Desk at SAC (Student Activity Center marked as B3 69 in the map).
● Please submit the accommodation receipt at the accommodation desk at SAC
(marked as B3 69 in the map).
● Those who have accommodation inside IIT Bombay campus will get Green band at
IIT Bombay Main Gate (marked as F3 51 in the map). Please make sure that you must
collect it and keep it all the time during your stay inside the campus.
● Those who have accommodation inside IIT Bombay, their Green band after showing
a payment receipt for accommodation will be used as a pass for Technoholix event
entry.
● Those who don’t have accommodation inside IIT Bombay will get the Blue band at
IIT Bombay Main Gate (marked as F3 51 in the map). Please make sure that you must
collect it and keep it all the time during your stay inside the campus.
● Those who don’t have accommodation inside IIT Bombay campus should take
Technoholix Pass to attend the event. You can collect this at Accommodation Desk
at SAC. The Passes for Technoholix Event will be distributed from 1 PM on every day
during 14th Dec-16th Dec 2018.

Workshop Day :

The venue for Ethical Hacking Workshop is LA 302 inside LCH complex (marked as
D4 48 in the map)

All participants must report at the venue on 15th December 2018 at 8 AM sharp with
their ID-proofs and Ticket (payment) proofs.

The workshop will start at 9:00 am in the morning and will go on till 5:00 pm There
will be half an hour lunch break and the participants are requested to arrange
breakfast and lunch on their own.

Food and Beverages :

Food and beverage stalls will be installed near the Physics Department (marked D4-
65 in the map) during the daytime and at Food Court in SAC (marked as B3-69 in the
map) after Technoholix at night.

Certificates:

Workshop certificates will be distributed within a few days of the workshop.
