ABOUT US

The Flavors of Davao café offers a variety of know


Davao fruit drinks and food beverages for tourists and local
customers productive day and night owl growlers. Discovering
Davao’s finest, by captivating its rich resources through tasty and
culture approved recipes in a budget friendly menu.

OUR STORY

Four individuals namely Jezreel Olidiana, Dannah Mikhaela


Pillerin, Hannah Candralo, and Aushong Ragas came up with Mrs.
Elizabeth Eagle’s business Flavors of Davao that was triggered bytheir
friend Tina Zhang who is new to the city.
It was merely just a habit of the group to prepare beverages
that its ingredients are locally available and accessible in the metro
that eventually grow its popularity.
Until one day, Tina’s landlady Mrs. Eagle liked the dishes that
resulted for her to hire the group in her cafe, which helps Davao’s
tourism and culture to be recognize especially for foreigners like Tina.

COMPANY OWNERSHIP

Mrs. Elizabeth Eagle is an American citizen who found love in


the City of Davao. Eagle and her husband met on Eagle’s first trip to
Davao. Her husband – then boyfriend- then introduced her to the
flavors of Davao and she became hooked. After 3 years, they then
tied the knot. Her first project was to build an apartment on the
certain spot her and her husband met. Mrs. Eagle then befriended a
few friends of her tenant, Tina, and found out they were business
students. Being the kind heart she is, she told them she planned to
open a business and would want them to come up with how it
would be as long as it highlights the flavors of Davao.
EXCUTIVE SUMMARY

Flavors of Davao is located in Matina and Torres. Its


vision and mission is to be the place tourists dive in and become a
trademark of Davao City. Flavors of Davao sells a wide variety of
Coffee related drinks, Liquor and Cocktails and food. Aiming to serve
high school students, it aims to be good in the pocket. Also aiming to
serve professionals, it aims to give a good vibe wherein people can
work and share a laugh together. Flavors of Davao is coined
because it aims to have the flavors that makes Davao distinct from
other places therefore, it stands out from the rest because of its
uniqueness. Mrs. Elizabeth Eagle, the owner of the establishment, has
been exposed to business as a child because her parents are both
businessmen and entrepreneurs. Her siblings are also business
graduates. Before descending to the Philippines, she finished her
study at London Business School earning a degree in BS Business
Administration. Flavors of Davao aims to be the best and it aims to
represent what Davao is really about. It wants to be the first place
people recommend to when they hear someone is visiting Davao.

advantage points on how to compete in the industry:
 Firstly, the FOD location. It is dining in Davao’s Uptown Matina
Street and also on downtown lively Torres Street.
 It is open for 24 hours with the café in the morning and a bar
on the evening.
 It also serves a new and unique variety of flavors that has not
yet done before in the market.
VISION

Flavors of Davao aims to be the Café-Bar trademark of Davao


City. It shall cater to the tourists of the city with its variety of drinks
with the distinct Davao flavors. It envisions itself as the first place
tourists dive in.

MISSION

In line with the vision stated above, its mission is to serve the
people of Davao and the tourists with the unique Davao taste. To let
the people, taste the flavors of Davao. Flavors of Davao’s mission is
to also raise awareness of the native Davao products and flavors.

GOALS

Flavors of Davao Corporation intends to be one of Davao’s


trademark places in the tourism industry, widen the society’s
knowledge and information about Mindanawon specialties,
products, culture, and style of living.
That at the same time profitable, low production cost
that meets the demand, develop and innovate new products,
increase marketing effectiveness, and improve customer service
relation.

MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES SOURCING

Using of Narra wood as for our furniture’s, tables, chairs, flooring


and walls so for our dear customers will really feel the essence of our
theme and for them to taste the full experience and relaxation in our
cafe.
And the material is not damaging the environment like
plastic. The tree grows fast, and you do not have to worry about
environment side effect from it.
Then recyclable materials for our cups,spoons,forks and plates
to reduce waste, because we are working to shrink our
environmental footprint and meet the expectations of our customers
by reducing the waste associated with our business,increasing
recycling and promoting reusable materials.
With the dishes, drinks and other beverages that the Flavors of
Davao serves are mainly from Gensan, Tagum, and Takurong farms
in the region.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We aim to maintain an excellent quality when it comes to our


products. To do so, we ensure the greatest quality of raw materials
that will be added into each cup/glass, plate and bag. We ensure
to keep our stations and our ambience clean to maintain the
wholesomeness of the place but most importantly to maintain the
excellence of every product we put out. Furthermore, we ensure to
inspect the goods we send out making sure that we do not put out a
poor quality product

OUR PRODUCT BENEFITS

Davao City is also known as the "Fruit Basket of the Philippines".


We the FOD features the different common fruit of Davao City and
so we got the idea of using different fruit flavors for our coffee to
create something new and unique.
We offer 5 different flavors, The
Durian,Mangosteen,Pomelo,Mango and Buko in our coffee and
shake specialties.

DURIAN FLAVOR

It is the most relevant fruit in the city. Durian is rich in nutrients,


such as potassium, dietary fiber, iron,vitamin C and vitamin B
complex. The king of fruits thus excellent for improving muscle
strength and blood pressure, bowel movements and skin health. And
also supports the nervous and immune systems, and enhances red
blood cell formation.

MANGOSTEEN FLAVOR

A healthy fruit which is rich in water,energy,protein,


carbohydrate, and fiber. An essential nutrient such as
calcium,iron,magnesium, phosphorus,potassium,sodium,zinc,copper
and manganese are found in this fruit. It contains also Vitamin C, B6,
B12, &A which are required for maintaining good health.

POMELO FLAVOR

Unusual member of the citrus fruit that has many health benefits
include its ability to boost the immune system,improves digestion,
lower blood pressure, reduce cramping, prevent anemia, boost
bone strength, reduce signs of premature aging, prevent cancer,
protect heart health, aid in weight loss, and boost oral and dental
health.

MANGO FLAVOR

Can help prevent cancer,lowers cholesterol, Alkalizes the


whole body,may help people with diabetes, promotes healthy
sex, improves digestion, helps fight heat stroke, and boosts the
immune system.
BUKO FLAVOR

Is a rich source of potassium,manganese,magnesium,calcium


and selenium, and it has many benefits which our customers can
get. So our coffee is not just the typical coffee that you see in an
ordinary cafe, it is also the source of different nutrients that our body
needs. You can enjoy our coffee with different flavors at the same
time you can get large benefits on our unique products. This is best
also for people who is health conscious.

Our products have a distinct Davao feel. Besides the coffee


possessing the flavors of Davao, each cup is a surprise to which

this is essential for catching the hungry

Where we can encourage our current customers to refer


our products to new customers, example of this are their
families,friends and so on.

and discounts are some incentives we can use.
So this makes our customer base as a

So we can also build good relationship with our customers. We

a way to promote our product for those who are not in
the social media like the Senior Citizens or provincial
places for them to be informed to our products and
services we are offering. And for us to gain publicity without using

THE MARKET

Flavors of Davao serves all the people whom wants to acquire


in our product or services, but then most likely our target market
consumer or costumers are the high school and college students
which are aged 15-25 years old in any gender whom had
an allowance or a pocket money of P100-P500 a day.
Professional who works night shift such as call center
agents, office workers, and those party enthusiast or even
girls and boys night out, etc. aged at 26 years old above.

Our target costumers or consumers are high school and college


students near our location. They can relax and have a good time
chatting with their friends or even studying while consuming our
products offered. And also professionals people such as businessmen
or entrepreneurs for they can sit back and feel the ambiance of our
place.
