• Computerize Accounting Application II (SI0014)
course will be delivered as AC010 – Business
Processes in Financial Accounting
• This course covers the basic structure and
procedures of financial accounting in the SAP
system

• Recommended Knowledge
• SAP01 – SAP Overview
Course Goals
• This course will prepare you to:
• Understand the most basic structure and procedures
of financial accounting within the SAP system
• Perform essential functions in financial accounting
• Support project teams with important decisions
Course Objectives
• After completing this course, you will be able to:
• Explain the roles of various applications in financial
accounting
• Explain how the financial accounting components
relate to each other
• Perform typical accounting transactions in the
application components of financial accounting

• General Ledger Accounting
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Asset Accounting
• Bank Accounting
• Preparing Financial Statements
Mid Test
• Mid test will be conducted in computer lab
• Duration of test: 2 hours
• Multiple choice questions and essay
• Mid test is 30% of the total grade
• Students may open book
Final Test
• Final test will be conducted in computer lab
• Final test is AC010 certification exam
• Duration of test: 2 hours
• Multiple choice questions with online system
• Final test is 40% of the total grade
• Students may be passed from this course but fail on
certification exam
• For passing the exam, students will need 70% of the
questions correct answered
• Students may open book
