Important Issues
Use of Riser card with 66MHz Products
Before using a riser card, please review AMCC’s customer advisory PDF at the following link:
http://www.3ware.com/products/pdf/TWCA001_1003.pdf to identify compatibility issues between
certain controllers and chipsets.
Note
Parted extends the 2TB partition limit on Linux 2.6
Current Linux “fdisk” versions have a partition size limit of 2TB. Use the “Parted” tool for
partition sizes greater than 2TB.
Upgrading 3DM
When upgrading 3DM from an older version under Windows, all information in the Alarms pages
will be lost. Save a copy of the Alarms pages locally, before upgrading.
