How to open Microsoft Excel 2007

- click start
- click all programs
- click Microsoft office Title bar
- click Microsoft office excel 2007

Rows cell columns

To Cheek No Row’s

- Click Cell “A1” and press ctrl and down Arrow from the key board then
- To go back press ctrl and up Arrow from the key board

To Cheek No Column’s

- write Number 1-3 from Cell “A1” up to cell “C1”


- select row number one
- click Fill
- click series
- click ok
- click Cell “A1” then press ctrl + right Arrow from the key board
Rename work sheet

- right click on the sheet


- click Rename
- write new sheet name then click out said the sheet

Delete work sheet

- right click on the sheet that you want remove


- click delete

Insert new work sheet /page/

- Right click one of the sheet


- Click insert
- Click General tab and then click work sheet
- Click ok

To change tab color

- Right click on the work sheet


- Click tab color
- Select the color and click on it

To insert current time

- Press ctrl + shift + ; /semicolon/ from the keyboard

To insert current Date, month and year

- Press ctrl + ; /semicolon/ from the keyboard

To insert $ sign in our data

- Select cell’s
- Click Home ribbon
- Click accounting number format Dropdown list
- Click English (united state),English (united kingdom )…

To insert present/%/ sign

- Select cell’s
- Click home ribbon
- Click percentage style
Merge and center Cell’s

- Select cell’s first


- Click home ribbon
- Click merge and center

Alignment

- Click on the cell and right click on it


- Click format cell
- Click Alignment
- Arrange the position /degree /450,900../
- Click ok

Insert boarder

- Select cell’s First


- Right click on the selected cell
- Click format cell
- Click boarder
- Select line style from the list
- Click inside and out line

Data sorting

- Select the data


- Click Data ribbon
- Click sort
- Select A-z or Z-A
- Click ok
Filtering Data

- Select the data first


- Click Data ribbon
- Click Filter
- Click filter dropdown list
- Click text /number/ filter
- Click Equals….
- Arrange custom Auto filter
- Click ok

Insert comment

- Click on the cell


- Click Review Ribbon
- Click new comment
- Write your comment

Check spelling error

- Write the word


- Click Review Ribbon
- Click spelling
- Click on the correct word
- Click change
- Close the window

To translate word’s

- Write the word and select it


- Click Review Ribbon
- Click Translate
- Arrange two Languages From ……. and To…..

To Find Synonym

- Write the word and select it


- Then click Review Ribbon
- Click Thesaurus

Protect sheet

- Click Review
- Click protect sheet
- Write the password
- Click ok
- Re-write password then click ok
Data validation

- Click on the cell


- Click data Ribbon
- Click data validation (2)
- click settings
- Select validation criteria Decimal, any number…
- Click input message
- Write the title and input message
- Click Error Alert
- write the Alert message
- Click ok

Create chart

- Write and select data


- Click insert
- Click one of the chart type
