The students will be asked to explain in his/her own understanding of the following
statement:
 You are the apple of my eye.
 Love is like a rosary that full of mystery
What do you think our lesson this morning? (Posting the objective on the board.)

The teacher will present words containing types of Figures of Speech. On the other
hand, pieces of meta strips containing sentences that will be placed at the table and each
group will match the sentences at the side of each words.

2. How were you able to match the words on the board to the sentences beside it?
C. Abstraction:
The teacher will facilitate the discussion of the following concept:

The teacher will present a poem containing the Elements of poetry and learners have to
identify the different elements of poetry based on the given poem.
