Little as we are, we are endowed with the curiosity as to what lies behind tomorrow. Will it be an
enjoyable ride? Will it be some long and dreary road? Will I become someone to be proud of? What does
it take to be that someone I imagine myself to become someday? How will I achieve such dreams? Will I
make it to that imaginary finish line? Of course! I want to. We all want to.
All of us have that dreams and aspirations we all cling to from the very start. Somehow, we possess
the eagerness of achieving all of those in the future. Maximizing one’s potential allows a person to
discover the things he/she is capable of doing. Things that a person could use as a tool for building ones
dream and making it happen. However, some people dismiss such dreams as some childish and
unreachable fantasies. After all, with so many challenges people encounter with their daily lives, the idea
of dreaming about the future may seem mindless, even decadent.
For a certain dream to provide fuel on your present-day reality, it can be a whim, something to
look forward to. To make use of the real benefits of one’s dream, it has to be a true reflection of your
spirit, your character, and your most treasured values. For example, you start with a desire of having that
dream house or even that dream cellphone. Consequently, you don’t mind whether or not that certain
dream might be attainable someday or the other way around. What you have in mind is that dream, that
jewel of yours, should be taken care of, should be nurtured. No matter what it takes, may it be at times
we less prioritize that dream and simply focused on the reality we are into, still that dream is still there,
sleeping, waiting to become part of our reality.
Yes, it is undeniably true that a dream can not necessarily foretell the future. But at least, you
have a dream. We all have a dream. A dream that will help you face the challenges life has to offer. A
dream that will help you become a strong individual because you were able to surpass the bitter taste of
life. And a dream that helps you unfold who you really are and what you can become in the future. Success
is not really that difficult to attain if you only possess a strong will to embrace the future.
For the meantime, when your dream is still miles ahead from you, why not have first have the
following things: work hard, educate yourself, feed yourself with knowledge as these elements will help
you reach the kind of future you are dreaming to have. Knowing what’s happening around you and taking
it to your advantage is something you can also use. Lastly and the most important element of all – prayers.
As the famous saying goes, “Prayer can move mountains”.
With all such things, let us someday say that all things started with a dream but I make it my
reality.
The World Must Unite

Teachers. They are our second parent in this world. By the time we started on our education trip,
we have encountered different types of teacher. Typically, some of the teachers are friendly. There are
also other teachers who are strict and some are the ones that we truly idolize.
It is on our own individual preferences in which we begin to like them. But there are also few of
them whom we dislike. We even classify our teachers into different categories.
Base from the different perspectives of people I know and a couple of stories I read on the Internet
about the different types of teacher, I've come up with my own top five types of teachers. Let us explore
each of them in detail.
The Friendly. This teacher is whom we consider as our friend. He/she acts like a friend to his/her
student. A friendly teacher can serve as an energy booster to a student. He/she makes sure that students
feel at home. During class, this teacher encourages the students to an open discussion. Students won't
feel subdued because their different opinions and ideas are accepted. Also, a friendly teacher develops a
cherished bond with his/her students. Such teacher will be truly missed by students in his/her absence.
As a matter of fact, this teacher combines both the guidance of a teacher and the understanding of a
friend.
The Funny. This teacher is like a sun that brightens our gloomy day. A funny teacher wants to see
his/her students smile. Some people would think that they are clumsy or they act stupid that's why they're
considered funny. Instead, they are witty and they bring in humor in its most subtle form. During class,
students would eagerly wait and look forward to his/her lessons because he/she makes learning an
enjoyable experience. Even though this teacher is humorous, that doesn't follow that he/she isn't serious
about studies. He/she still encourages his/her students to study hard. He/she doesn't tolerate students
who are being playful towards their studies. This teacher educates the student in a less-stress way. There
would be no "dull moments" whenever you have this type of teacher.
The Easygoing. This teacher is what we consider as the easygoing one. He/she takes things as
they'll come. This teacher is not very strict about things, such as doing homework, passing project,
attendance in class, etc. Such teacher would say that being strict to a child would just make him/her not
interested in going to school. They are easy to approach and they are hassle-free, that's why they are so
loved by most students. They over-pampered their students that would sometimes lead a bad effect to
students. Such teacher would usually be abused if he/she will be too generous. he/she is still their teacher
and students still need to respect him/her. Imposing discipline to students would still be needed.
The Terror. This teacher is what most students are afraid of. A lot of students dislike this teacher.
There are different names being addressed to this type of teacher. The monster, the dragon is just some
of the few names students call a terror teacher. A terror teacher is very harsh on students. He/she is very
meticulous when it comes to rules and deadlines. There is no room for mistakes whenever you're in a
class of a terror teacher. He/she has a very high standards in class that students don't have any choice but
to deal with it. They are less-approachable. Students would be scared just having the sight of him/her.
Learning can't be successfully attained by students because of the bad atmosphere they have. It's just so
sad to imagine that a terror teacher often fails to touch the heart of his/her students.
The Ideal. This teacher is like a package deal. All the traits that a student looks for in a teacher can
be found in him/her. This teacher acts as a guide to the students, while not being harsh on them. He/she
motivates his/her students and gives them a boost to their personality. He/she encourages the students
to do good in school. Such teacher still imposes discipline to the students but in an effective way. He/she
serves as our friend, guide, educator, confidante, a combination of all the good qualities of a teacher. This
teacher helps each student in shaping each of their lives. Having this type of teacher is really a heaven-
sent.
Every person is unique. Just like our teachers, they also have their own uniqueness. Each of these
individuals possess different personalities. They have different technique/strategies of teaching, different
principles to believe in, different ways on how to handle students.
Even though we have teachers such as the friendly, funny, easy-going, terror, and ideal one; let
us be reminded of the fact that each of them strives hard on imparting knowledge and values to us. In
such way that it would help and shape us on becoming a better individual.
