Science, Technology and Society makes me realized that these three ideas should be balance and they all

matter. They all contribute to each other’s importance and significance. It plays a vital role in our everyday lives. This
course served as an eye opener to us, students to identify problems with local interests or impact. It also teaches to
use of local resources to seek information that can help for problem solution. These focus on personal impact that
makes use of student’s own natural curiosity and concerns. We also become aware of our responsibilities as citizens
as we attempt to resolve issues they have identified. The learning about it can play a vital role in each life that can give
impact to it. It became an experience of enjoyment and it aims the future and what it may be like.

I have learned the importance of considering a situation from various perspectives that I should deal it with an
open mind. I have been able to think the situations more critically and developed more appropriate and legal arguments.
The course generally frames my outlook on the world and mold my personal beliefs. It provided insights that made me
realize that my entire understanding about the three ideas is generally not completed. Studies of technology and
science gives insight into the understanding and knowledge of technology, science and knowledge from the viewpoint
of the humanities and the social sciences. Throughout the course of study, we became familiar with amendments of
social and cultural analyses of modern science and technology in interaction with social, political, economic and cultural
processes of change.

STS teaches us skills, which will open your mind – like writing and presentation, logic and self-organization.
It also invites you to think for yourself, to reflect on society, politics and the impact of technology, and to do something
wonderful with all the new and old ways of cultural expression that our world provides. It will help you to leave your
comfort zone. It is important to the public because it helps address issues that are of concern to the general population.
Scientific principles have been and continue to be applied to address issues, concerns, and problems that people face
in the day-to-day aspects of living. Scientific research has value and importance to the layperson to the extent that it
helps address problems of a practical nature. How science is taught and learned can determine its relevance to most
students, not only to those planning careers in scientific fields. In this age of communication, an important trend being
driven by technology is the ability to link information resources worldwide. This has profound implications for educators
and the future of education. For example, technology is fast demonstrating that schools are one of the many places
where learning can and will take place by providing ready access to information beyond the classroom walls.
Technology is increasingly blurring the distinction between learner and teacher through the capability of giving all users
rapid and simultaneous access to information at decreasing cost. This fact has serious implications for the place called
school and is one that educators might well note. This course will help you to be more aware of what you will encounter
involving the three matter. They are allied things that will play a vital role in our lives.
